J.A. Happ pitched six strong innings, hit the first home run of his career and then watched the Astros bullpen blow another lead Sunday at Minute Maid Park. Happ recovered after walking the bases loaded in the first inning and allowed two hits over six innings and hit a 333-foot homer in the fourth inning for a 2-0 lead over the Arizona Diamondbacks.

Kam Mickolio was optioned to Class AAA Reno. Mickolio, who had been called up May 24 for his second big-league stint this season, has allowed five runs over five runs over 6 2/3 innings with the D-backs this year.

The Arizona Diamondbacks were tired and starting pitcher Daniel Hudson wasn't sharp. Then it really got bad. The Diamondbacks fell behind 6-0 after four innings and it took two two-run homers by Juan Miranda and Chris Young's two-run infield hit in the seventh inning to rally the Diamondbacks to a 7-6 victory over the Houston Astros on Friday night.
